Terms of Service
The rules of using EmailSavy. Plain English, no tricks.
1. Who we are
EmailSavy (“we”, “us”) is an email tracking service operated via the Chrome extension and the website emailsavy.com. Questions? emailsavy@startuptalky.com.
2. What EmailSavy does
EmailSavy lets you track when your outgoing emails are opened, clicked, and replied to. Tracking happens via a transparent 1×1 pixel embedded in each email, plus stealth CSS and font-loading signals for reliability. You install our Chrome extension and sign up for an account. Free tier is capped; Pro tier is unlimited.
3. Accounts
- You must provide an accurate email address. One person, one account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We bcrypt-hash passwords; we never see them.
- You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard — all your data is purged within 30 days.
4. Acceptable use
EmailSavy exists to help you track your own outbound emails. You agree NOT to:
- Track emails you do not have authority to track (e.g., impersonating someone else).
- Send unsolicited commercial email (spam), phishing, or malware.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the service.
- Scrape the extension, pixel endpoints, or dashboard beyond normal use.
- Violate any applicable law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) — we will suspend accounts that generate abuse reports.
5. Billing & refunds
Pricing
Pro is ₹99 / month or ₹999 / year. Payment is processed via Razorpay (secure Indian payment gateway). You can cancel any time from the dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; no prorated refunds for mid-period cancellations.
Refund policy
If you cancel within 7 days of your first Pro payment and have used fewer than 100 tracked emails, email emailsavy@startuptalky.com for a full refund. After 7 days, or after heavy usage, refunds are not guaranteed but we'll handle genuine cases on a case-by-case basis.
Taxes
Prices are inclusive of GST where applicable. International customers may be charged additional taxes per their jurisdiction.
6. Data ownership
You own your data. We only store what's necessary to run the service: your email, your tracked emails' metadata (recipient, subject, timestamps, opens, clicks, replies), and payment records from Razorpay. We never sell your data. We never email your recipients. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
7. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance is announced in the dashboard where possible. We are not liable for indirect damages resulting from downtime.
8. Changes to the service
We may add, remove, or change features over time. Breaking changes that affect your ability to use the product will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate Section 4 (Acceptable Use).
- Generate repeated spam complaints.
- Fail payment after two retry attempts.
You will receive a warning email (when possible) before suspension.
10. Liability
EmailSavy is provided “as is”. Our total liability in any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost sales, business interruption, or indirect damages.
11. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
