EmailSavy for students and job seekers
Know if your application or email to a professor was opened
Waiting for an answer to an application or a request is stressful. EmailSavy shows whether your email was read, so you know when a follow-up makes sense.
What you can do
- Track a job or internship application sent from Gmail or Outlook.
- See whether a professor or a hiring manager read your message.
- Get an alert if a read email stays unanswered, then send one polite follow-up.
- Free, with no limit on tracked emails.
How it works
Install the Chrome extension, sign in, and write your email as you always do. EmailSavy adds a tracking pixel when you send, and your dashboard and the ticks in your Sent list show what happened.
What it cannot tell you
- EmailSavy shows Read only on strong evidence: a real link click, a confirmed reply, or repeat opens from a real device.
- A mail app that never loads images shows no open at all. In our own check, about 3 in 10 emails with no open seen still got a reply (one account, 583 emails), so no open is not proof it was unread.
- Opens from Apple Mail privacy and from scanners show as Delivered, not Read.
- Reply detection works in Gmail. Open and click tracking works in Gmail and Outlook.
